Intensified cooperation between PE Agro-Berza Skopje and the Rice Institute for the modernization of agriculture

The policies created by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy require a responsible approach to implementation. Following the adoption of the program for the storage of paddy rice for the needs of the commodity reserves of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Public Enterprise Agro-Berza Skopje, as the largest grain storage operator in the country, held a meeting today with the Director of the Rice Institute, Prof. Dr. Dobre Andov. This institute is the only scientific institution of its kind in Southeast Europe and was established in 1927. Its knowledge, experience, and tradition are undisputed and recognized both nationally and internationally.

During the meeting, it was agreed and mutually accepted that future cooperation between PE Agro-Berza Skopje and the Rice Institute will be intensified and shared selflessly. As a public enterprise, we will continue to be present on the ground—among farmers, among buyers, and among scientific institutions in the field—with the goal of modernizing agriculture in our country and achieving European standards.
